5th Annual ACB Steet Fair

     Our 5th annual Street Fair was greeted with stormy skies; cold and windy conditions, yet the rain held off, our tents stayed anchored and the warm smiles of the ca. 50 ACB helpers on that wonderful June 2nd Saturday prevailed and filled Dennewitzplatz truly with laughter and a sense of welcome. Our visitors were perhaps less than in other years, yet the children’s games tent, headed up by family Banks-Grasedyck, and arts and crafts tent, headed up by family Mochman and Hosenfelder, never ceased to be full of happy participants! Two of our special highlights this year were generously sponsored by the Quartiersmanagement Schöneberger Norden; our “Jump for Faith” Soccer Ball Hüpfburg (managed by the Info Tent led up by Ginette G.) and the helium balloon give aways organized again this year by Lisa B. The neighborhood families and guests who joined us certainly enjoyed the delicious and opulent Savory Street Sale in the - yes really - “warm church,” headed up by Heike B. and Dietrich R. with the Young Adults Group!!! This rich variety of luscious dishes and baked goods overwhelms us every year with a deep sense of gratitude; for the congregational participation and support of so many who do step up to the call of being gracious hosts to our neighbors in and around Dennewitzplatz!!!  And not to be missed was our outdoor grill Imbiß sponsored generously again by Michael and Kevin K.!! THANK YOU ALL!!!
