ACB 300 Club

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Dear Members of ACB,
As we bring to a close the 300 Club Campaign, I can only shout praises to God for your generosity. We set a goal for ourselves to raise between 20.000 - 21.000 € by December 31, 2012. We received a total of 20.500 € in pledges and 19.565,00 € in collected pledges and funds. You are all amazing and we at ACB are humbled by the generous response to this campaign. As soon as the weather permits we will be able to complete phase 1 of our goal to bring a new and more efficient heating system into the church.

At our Spring Annual meeting on Sunday, June 10, we as a congregation voted favorably for three motions submitted by the Property Committee:

1. To change the heating source from oil to gas with modern burners, provided funding is available.
2. To install floor heating after completion of stage one (stage two), provided funding is available.
3. To replace our current sound system with a complete new digital sound system, provided funding is available.

We are encouraged and blessed in this process by working together with one of our partner organizations in the United States, who is helping us raise the funds for the above capital goals. At this point this partner organization has pledged $145,000 campaign from their constituents. With their help we will realize the first two goals in 2013.

With the encouragement of our friends and supporters we commited ourselves to do our part as well! We knew that the $145,000 contribution would not fully cover phase 1 and 2. We challenged ourselves to find 70 members of ACB, who would pledge 300 Euros over the next six months from July to December to raise 21,000 Euros. Indeed,You have responded and we are blessed! As the Apostle Paul writes, You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us (2 Corinthians 9:11).
