Our Partners
The American Church in Berlin is grateful for the partnerships that support and strengthen our ministry. These relationships reflect our ecumenical identity and connect us with a wider network of churches, organizations, and ministries across Europe and the United States.
ACB relates to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) through ELCA Global Mission. The ELCA supports ACB in ministry planning and in providing teaching and worship resources. It also offers guidance and a pathway for U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to ACB through the ELCA Global Gifts program.
For more than 130 years, ACB has maintained a close relationship with the American and Foreign Christian Union. The AFCU supports international English-speaking churches in Europe and provides a way for friends and members in the United States to give financially to ACB with full U.S. tax-deductible eligibility.
AICEME is a network of international, English-speaking Protestant congregations committed to mutual support, fellowship, and shared ministry. ACB participates actively in gatherings, retreats, and cooperative initiatives across the region.
ACB is a member of the Internationale Konvent Christlicher Gemeinden in Berlin und Brandenburg, a diverse network of more than 30 Christian congregations with migrant representation. The IK advocates for its member churches within the EKBO and the wider public, offering practical and pastoral support.
These partnerships connect ACB to a wider Christian community and strengthen our ministry as an ecumenical, international church in the heart of Berlin.
